Award Winning Photographer Monika Golebiowska specializes in fine-art portraits for newborn, baby (6 months and 1 year old milestones), maternity and family photography. Her style is “LESS is MORE”. The baby is the center of attention. Monika loves white colors which represents pure and organic. She also offers new ALL WHITE sessions (all outfits, props, and backdrops used during the session are white) for a more natural, simple & timeless look. Her studio located in Merrick, Long Island, NY; NYC area is equipped with lighting, is temperature controlled, and has all the props needed for your session. Parents need to bring only their beautiful baby, then sit back and relax during the session.

Hello, I am a newborn photographer from Merrick, Long Island NY, specializing in newborn, baby, and children & family portraits. Newborns are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. I am serving Long Island, New York, NYC, Nassau County, Suffolk County as well as surrounding counties and cities.
I live on Long Island with my husband and beautiful daughter. I am originally from Poland, Europe but I have been living in the States for 18+ years. I graduated from Photography School in Manhattan and also have a Master Degree in Civil Engineering.
I started photographing children when my daughter was born, and since then I have been in love with children’s and especially newborn photography.
I have been in the photography industry for just over twelve years now. After having my daughter, I decided to teach myself photography, so I could take better photos of my own family. I attended Photography School in Manhattan where I got my knowledge of camera settings, photography rules and angles, lighting techniques, shooting in RAW, depth of field, negative space, background and many more photography topics.
Friends and family then started asking me to take photos for them, and it all kicked off from there! I’ve been incredibly lucky to have had so many returning clients over the years who also recommend me to their own friends and family, helping my business organically grow well beyond my expectations.
I never imagined I would ever be working with newborns and children (in my former job I worked as a civil engineer), but I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I’m so blessed to be able to call it a “job”. I definitely feel like I’ve found my calling in life.
My daughter is my biggest inspiration. We love to do things together, such as skiing, ice skating, parasailing, tubing, kayaking…. you name it. Our biggest hobby is TRAVELLING. We have traveled to 44 USA states and counting… Visited 25+ countries and counting… Also we both love ice cream and coffee (coffee for Mommy only) 🙂

Monika is absolutely best when it comes to photographing children and taking family pictures, especially photographing the new borns.
